A SALON CONVERSATION: TEMPORALITY, DESIGNING WITH TIME
Join us in The Bradbury Building for a conversation in collaboration with the Berggruen Institute on temporality and designing with time in work, art and life. The discussion will feature artist Ian Cheng, author Sarah Perry and Berggruen Fellow Venkatesh Rao exploring the interplay of time, subjectivities and environments, both real and virtual.

Six-time GRAMMY® winner Amy Winehouse has been widely renowned not just as a British music icon and pop royalty, but as a trendsetting fashion influencer. To showcase the late singer's iconic outfits, as well as never-before-seen handwritten lyrics, journal entries and other reflections from her family's personal archive, the GRAMMY Museum® proudly presents Beyond Black — The Style Of Amy Winehouse. The exhibit will open on Jan. 17, 2020 and will run through April 13.

MARKET MARKET at ROW DTLA will kick off Saturday, January 11th, 2020. This curated market of makers & merchants was created exclusively for ROW DTLA and will highlight the very best in handcrafted jewelry, apparel, accessories, apothecary, well-edited vintage, food and more.
Join us every other Saturday starting January 11th through March 21st from 10am to 5pm on Dock Street at ROW DTLA to celebrate community, modern craft and local trade.
L.A. MURALS
“L.A. Murals,” a new photography exhibition from the Library of Congress, documents murals painted on the streets of Los Angeles, an epicenter of the world’s street art scene.
The photographs are now on view in Los Angeles at The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall in the Library of Congress Ira Gershwin Gallery. The exhibition, which is free and open to visitors of the Concert Hall, went on view in September and will close in September 2020.
“L.A. Murals” features 30 photographs curated from the archives of photographers Carol M. Highsmith and Camilo José Vergara, which are part of the Library’s Prints and Photographs Division of more than 14 million photographs documenting America. The focus of the exhibition was inspired by the vitality of the visual arts and creativity of LA. Library curators organized the exhibit.
The exhibit is on view until September 2020, and is free and open to the public.
